Decentralized AI (“DeAI”) mindshare is up a whopping 4% this week as the hype around Physical AI and Robotics spikes:
While attention has risen, the overall DeAI market cap has remained flat at $31.3bn. Although there was a spike in interest, and capital flows, mid week:
A new Robotics market segment appears on Coin Gecko, enabling better tracking of Physical AI projects in crypto:
This index is up 97% on the week, countering the flat DeAI performance.
It’s not surprising that capital is flowing into robotics; the Decentralized Physical AI (“DePAI”) segment equates to just 1.4% of the entire DeAI market segment:

This week we’ve seen a spike in mindshare and capital flowing into DePAI.
Caesar and Surf Co Pilot both landed on similar picks for this ecosystem:
Other hot projects include Neuron (NRN) and Codec, with the former being focused on reinforcement learning (“RL”) to power robotics.
The topic of RL has just hit the headlines as Meta revealed a 25x faster method of training AI using this form of learning.
What was once a cumbersome moving piece of metal could become better at moving than the average human.
Similarly we’re seeing more companies attempt to bridge the gap between AI in the physical and digital.
AI Video Capabilities: Customizable Solutions
As AI advances, refined video outputs are emerging; crucial for robotics, where video data trains physical AI in spatial awareness.

Smart money is flowing heavily into two tokens:

REKT breaks out into the mainstream as a Reddit article mentions the $2m deal wrapped up in the Sharplink ETH treasury strategy.
Virtuals Genesis project launches have dipped but still coming through and capturing attention, albeit smaller than a few months prior
